Senior Fellows

In a time when engagement between business and government is increasingly pivotal to the production of public value, Senior Fellows contribute to the understanding of the rapidly evolving relationship between the sectors.

About the Program: Fellowships allow senior-level business or government executives to design their time to pursue independent research or projects around the engagement of business and government. The center is particularly interested in proposals around regulation, innovation in public-private partnerships and corporate governance. Recent projects include: a journal article in Business and Ethics, published book on private sector management of public schools, teaching case on public-private partnerships in New York Parks system, coal gasification and public financing proposal included in 2005 Energy Bill, research on public-private innovation in transportation sector, a conference around corporate governance, research around social security and pension reform.

Criteria and Expectations: Fellow practitioners are expected to participate in the life of the center through seminars, lunches and conferences, student activities and may audit classes. Fellows will be expected to write at least a ten page paper summarizing their project or research. At least twenty years of professional experience is required for consideration as a Senior Fellow. International applications must submit both an application and the international supplement.
