Short CV
During his business administration studies in Valencia (Spain), Belo Horizonte (Brazil) and Bremen (Germany) Oliver Stünkel specialized in Latin-American economy and in particular in Mercosur issues. Apart from internships in the private sector in Brazil he worked he worked in the Mercosur secretariat in Montevideo (Uruguay) on issues of political and economic development á la EU from 2004-2005. He was a researcher at the Centre of European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels, where he participated in a project on the calculation of the costs of Turkey’s EU accession. Over the summer he worked for an NGO in India as well as for the GTZ in the South Pacific.
