Lars Becker, Master in Public Administration Candidate 2008, worked as an entrepreneur and investor prior to coming to Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He started his career with Morgan Stanley Capital Partners in London, where Lars structured private equity and venture capital investments in the technology and telecommunications sectors. Subsequently he twice ran entrepreneurial ventures, as COO of Player X, a global mobile content publisher, and as CEO of Flytxt, a leading ASP for mobile customer relationship management. Between these entrepreneurial ventures Lars worked at TLcom Capital Partners, a pan-European venture capitalist. Lars holds a 1st class honours degree from the London School of Economics (LSE) where he was supported by the German National Scholarship Foundation. Prior to studying Lars worked for an NGO in Brussels and as a German teacher in Scotland for two years.
