Alexander Pfannenberg, Master in Public Policy Candidate 2009, gained cross-sectoral work experience through a series of internships in business, federal government and non-profit organizations. He worked for DaimlerChrysler in South Africa, the Task Force for Global Issues at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin as well as for the Corporate Social Responsibility Project of the Bertelsmann Foundation. During his studies in Switzerland, Alexander led the International Students' Committee (ISC) in the organization of the St. Gallen Symposium for more than 600 leaders of business, politics and science. In 2006, he was selected by the Office of Federal President Horst Koehler as Youth Representative in the discussions on European integration between Heads of State during the European Presidential Summit in Dresden.
