Rainer Hoellstudied Philosophy and Modern German Literature in Tuebingen, Berlin and London. He worked at the Bertelsmann Foundation in media policy projects and at the Robert Bosch Foundation for the International Commission on the Balkans and on Demography and Old Age. Since 2006, he was program officer in the "Science and Research" department of the Robert Bosch Foundation and responsible for science cooperation with China, research into sustainable resource use and the science journalism programs. Since 1998, Rainer has supported the establishment of alumni networks in German schools to improve career counseling for high school students. |
