A Transatlantic Perspective of the Strauss Kahn Affair: French Feminism Reexamined

This talk will examine how the Dominique Strauss Kahn affair exposed the ongoing struggles of feminism in France. I suggest that although French feminism is diverse, it can be developed further by creating a “culture of rights” inspired by both the United States and the European Union.
