(Part III): Portfolio Construction

Fainsod (L-324) Facilitated by: Mayflower Advisors, LLC This is the third session in a series of Personal Finance Education seminars designed to help us navigate our personal finances. This session focuses on how to create an investment portfolio and provides tips that help to reduce volatility and increase long-term returns through market cycles. The discussion will focus on how to invest so that you avoid big losses and swings in your account. You will learn how and why rebalancing works, and what goes into the theory behind how portfolios are built. You will also receive additional tips and discuss some of the advantages & disadvantages of various investments in a negative environment. This workshop is open to all HKS Managers and Staff and their spouses/significant others.
