Paul Aaron will lead a discussion on reconciliation in Gaza following the May 5th Cairo Agreement. Aaron is Project Director for Towards Social Reconciliation in Gaza: A Community-based Assessment of Pathways and Pitfalls, implemented by Tida, an organization founded by Dr. Eyad Sarraj. This event is part of the HKS Conversation Series: Can the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Be Resolved? a seven-part seminar series hosted by MEI fellow Diana Buttu, former legal advisor to the Palestinian negotiating team in its negotiations with Israel and later as an advisor to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Participants are asked to read assigned articles before attending this session. All are available on the MEI website. The HKS Conversation Series is made possible by the generous support of Sidney Topol.
