**LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED** Please read about our guests below: Dr. Regina Rabinovich is the 2012-2013 ExxonMobil Malaria Scholar in Residence at Harvard University. She has over 25 years in global health experience focusing on implementation of strategies to prevent, control and treat infectious diseases including diarrhea, pneumonia, and malaria. She currently serves as a director off Enteric & Diarrheal Diseases and Pneumonia, and the interim director of Malaria for the Gates Foundation and has worked for the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), focusing on vaccine development. Jon Shaffer currently serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Partners In Health. In this role, he is working to develop a novel Community Organizing Initiative which will structure deep communities of solidarity and support for the global health equity movement. Previously, Jon served for two years as the Executive Director of GlobeMed, an organization that connects college students to grassroots global health organizations. Amanda Brewster oversees Harvard's Global Health Institute’s programming. Before coming to Harvard, she worked for the Strategic Planning and Policy Unit of the Wellcome Trust where she specialized in policy matters related to global health, innovation and intellectual property. She has also worked for the Science & Policy Directorate of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
