International Development Conference

The 20th International Development Conference at Harvard Kennedy School will take place on April 11th and 12th 2014.

This year’s conference, titled “The Wrong Way? Forging New Paths for Development” will examine the global forces that are disrupting traditional models for international development, and how new agents and approaches are redefining, redesigning, and finding new evidence for successful development. It will bring students together with leading academics, practitioners, and policy makers to reflect on new trends in development and articulate the most effective approaches moving forward. The conference includes over 18 panels and some amazing speakers such as former Prime Minister of Tanzania, HE Frederick Sumaye, Esther Duflo Co-Founder and Director of the Poverty Lab, Michael Schlein CEO of Accion International, Jane Wales CEO the Global Philanthropy Forum and the World Affairs Council and the Vice President of Philanthropy at the Aspen Institute and many more.
