Light Bulb Swap
Make a New Year’s Resolution you are sure to keep—reduce your office energy use by exchanging incandescent bulbs for more energy efficient LEDs. LED bulbs are 75% more efficient than incandescent. If we replace 100 bulbs with LEDs, we’ll save enough energy in one year to power a typical Massachusetts household for 16.5 months! Bring incandescent bulbs that are currently being used within your office to the JFK Forum on Wednesday, January 23, from 1-3pm and be entered to win a prize for every office bulb you exchange. Swap Rules:
- incandescent lights only
- bulbs must have been in use at a Harvard facility
- no exchanging bulbs from home or stock piled supplies
- 12.5 watt LED bulb is the equivalent to a 60 watt incandescent
