The Roles of the News Media in the Governance Agenda: Watch-dogs, Agenda-setters and Gate-keepers

The World Bank Communication for Governance and Accountability Program (CommGAP) and the Joan Shorenstein Center on the Press, Politics and Public Policy at KSG are co-sponsoring a Harvard University Workshop on "The Role of the News Media in the Governance Agenda: Watch-dog, Agenda-Setter, and Gatekeepers."  The event will be held from 9am Thursday 29th May until midday Saturday 31st May 2008 in the Penthouse at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Papers and all details are available on the conference website.
