Jim Doyle, governor of Wisconsin
(2003-11) and attorney general of Wisconsin (1991-2003) will be
leading a study group this fall on the politics as a noble pursuit
by asking What is the nature of public service? What are the
options? What are the major considerations in a person’s decision
to enter, or not to enter, electoral politics? How does this vary
depending on a person’s political views, the office being
considered, a person’s independent wealth, etc.?
