This workshop will focus on how to use detail, texture and subtlety in drawing on a particular experience to discover the wisdom, humor, sadness and/or truth about the human condition. We will analyze several essays to illustrate how your experiences, whether momentous or seemingly insignificant, can be the stuff of a powerful essay.
