The First Issue of 'Impact' Highlights Research at Harvard Kennedy School

November 20, 2008
by Robert O'Neill

Impact, a new quarterly newsletter produced by our Office of Communications and Public Affairs, aims to bring Harvard Kennedy School’s groundbreaking research to a non-academic audience of decision makers and practitioners.

Its goal, simply put, will be to increase the school’s impact.

The first issue includes articles on Asim Khwaja’s research on the positive impact of the Muslim pilgrimage, the Hajj; Jennifer Lerner’s work on behavioral and decision science; and Nolan Miller’s study of food subsidies for the very poor.
