Gergen to Deliver Commencement Address at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

David Gergen, co-director of the Kennedy School's Center for Public Leadership and professor of public service, will deliver the 2008 Commencement address May 17 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Gergen will also receive an honorary degree at the ceremony, joining fellow recipients Shirley Tilghman, president of Princeton University; and Major General Charles F. Bolden Jr., USMC (Ret.), veteran Marine Corps astronaut and space shuttle pilot.
