Jeffrey L. Seglin, lecturer in public policy, has been named one of the 2012 Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behavior by Trust Across America.
Trust Across America™ is a collaborative initiative whose aim is rebuild trust in American business. Over the years it has identified a series of events and shifts in corporate culture that have led to a breakdown in trustworthy behavior in public companies.
The list of Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behavior is Trust Across America’s attempt to shine a spotlight on those people whose efforts have helped address the breakdown and have resulted in more trustworthy behavior in the business world.
Seglin, who is also the communications program director for the Shorenstein Center, writes “The Right Thing,” a weekly column on general ethics that has been syndicated by Tribune Media Services since September 2010. From 2004 through 2010, he wrote an ethics column distributed by The New York Times Syndicate. He is the author of "The Right Thing: Conscience, Profit and Personal Responsibility in Today’s Business."
