Cambridge, MA —The hows and whys of the American presidential election system will be examined March 4 at the John F. Kennedy School of Government. The discussion, “From the Primaries to the Conventions: How Will We Elect the Next President?,” will begin at 7 p.m. at the John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum, 79 JFK Street, Cambridge.

A conversation with:

  • JONATHAN CHAVEZ, co-founder and director of Analytics, Social Sphere Strategies
  • LOIS ROMANO, political reporter/national politics, The Washington Post
  • DAVID YEPSEN, political columnist, Des Moines Register
  • JIM LEACH (moderator), director, Institute of Politics; member, United States House of Representatives (1977-2007; R-IA)

The panel discussion will be followed by a primary party with refreshments and viewing of the Ohio and Texas primary election returns on the Forum big screen.
