Organization Description:

Corporate Accountability International (formerly Infact) is a membership organization that protects people by waging and winning campaigns challenging irresponsible and dangerous corporate actions around the world. Since our first campaign pressuring Nestlé to stop irresponsible and dangerous marketing of infant formula to children in developing countries, Corporate Accountability International has taken on abusive global corporations one industry at a time. Now, we're building on our success and expanding our work to challenge several industries at once, specifically over abuses in the water, food and agribusiness, tobacco and oil industries.

Internship Description:

Current Internship Positions Available In Our Seattle Office:

Development Assistant: The Development Assistant works with our team of fundraisers organizing members across the U.S. to support Corporate Accountability International's important work. Responsibilities include responding to membership requests for information, systems development, phone and written outreach to members, upkeep of our database of supporters, and overall assistance with administration of the programs.

 
Qualifications:   Demonstrated commitment to corporate accountability/progressive social change. Highly effective written and verbal communication skills and style. Some experience in a high-energy, campaign and nonprofit setting. Excellent computer skills. Good organization and the ability to juggle several tasks while making and meeting deadlines.
