Organization Description: The Crittenton Women’s Union transforms the course of low-income women’s lives so that they can attain economic independence and create better futures for themselves and their families. 

The Research and Innovation department conducts research to develop and evaluate programs and policies targeted at low-income women.

Internship Description: CWU seeks a graduate level intern to conduct research on supportive housing policy and practice. The intern will conduct a literature review and phone interviews to explore program best practices, housing design, financing strategies, and workforce development connections. The final product will be a summary of the research and interviews, including a bibliography.
 
Qualifications:   Required Skills:

Ø      Writing and research skills

Ø      Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Ø      Attention to detail

Ø      Analytical, organizational, and general office skills

Ø      Knowledge of MS Office

Ø      Knowledge of human services and affordable housing

Ø      Familiarity with state policy issues and the legislative process also helpful

Graduate student preferred.
