Job Description: The Finance Manager ensures the development and  implementation of plans in regard to the management of Corporate Accountability International’s financial systems across the various units of the organization. 

Accountability: The Finance Manager reports to the Director of Finance and Administration.

Location: Campaign Headquarters, Boston – preferred location. Open to the possibility of a Senior Program Coordinator based in D.C. and commuting to Boston as needed.

Major responsibilities:

Ensures the development and implementation of plans in specific areas of the finance and administration unit, including:

  • Overall functioning of the financial systems (accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, audit, account reconciliations)

  • Monthly financial reporting

  • Grant budgets and financial reports

  • Annual budget preparation

Work with senior leadership, communications, development, and organizing units on various projects.

Participates in unit and organizational planning.

 
Qualifications:  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated commitment to social justice and progressive social change. 

  • At least three years experience managing the financial systems of a progressive non-profit organization.   

  • Effective communication skills and style. 

  • Highly motivated, with great attention to detail.

  • Talented with databases, Excel, and numbers.

  • Good organization and enjoy juggling several tasks while setting and meeting deadlines.

  • Strong systems analysis, conceptualization and implementation skills.

Salary and Benefits:  

$33,600 – 40,800, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
