Campaign for the Global Marshall Plan and the Strategy of Generosity,

Creating and Energizing Grass Roots Movement*

Work out of your own home in Washington, D.C. or from our office in

Berkeley, Ca. Good salary and benefits.

Create a national campaign for the Strategy of Generosity and the Global

Marshall Plan that gets noticed and discussed in the media, the

blog-o-sphere, and in the Congress and in state legislatures, and gets

endorsed by local city councils.

Salary range: depends on previous experience and can go from the 40k-80k/yr.

(the higher end for people who have considerable history of success in

grassroots organizing and lobbying). But we are willing to experiment with

people who have the skills and commitment to the vision (full and deep

understanding of The Left Hand of God book) even without the experience, at

lower levels of pay, if somehow you can convince us that you not only "get

it" but have brilliant ideas about how to make it happen and the skills to

implement those ideas.

Network of Spiritual Progressives (NSP) and our Spiritual Covenant with

America, understand what would be involved in shifting the dominant paradigm

of homeland security from domination to generosity, and could argue

effectively for the Global Marshall Plan (you can read more about it in

Michael Lerner's The Left Hand of God, and on our website

www.spiritualprogressives.org. Then, present us with a plan for how you

would launch such a campaign, having only limited finances and a national

organization of thousands of people, many of whom are not really activist

types but who do support the orientation and vision of the NSP. Tell us what

you imagine to be involved in this effort and what the job would be for a

person whose job is to create and then implement this campaign, what you

imagine its hours and commitment would require, and why you are the person

to do it.

if you want, you can also send us a dvd or video tape in which you provide

us with a fifteen minute talk you would pretend to be giving to a local

group of non-NSP members in which you introduce them to the idea of a

Strategy of Generosity and the Global Marshall Plan, and energize them to

become interested and involved in building a campaign to get these ideas
