Job Description:

We seek an energetic part-time person to help administer state-wide communications project. Goal on grant-funded program is to administer effort to "reframe" human service messages to build positive public perceptions about government and to build funding for human service programs. Responsibilities include: organizing speakers bureau among members, assist with training programs, message coaching with participants, assisting members with local media efforts, work on list/serv used as a training and coaching tool and to help seek additional funding. Job will require 24 hours per week through June 30.

 
Qualifications:   Skills:

Applicant should have strong writing skills, background in communications/marketing, and be familiar with state government and human services. Ability to travel within state.

Experience:

Some experience working with news media. Strong writing skills. Demonstrated ability to motivate and organize people toward a common goal.

Education:

Minimum of a B.A.

Salary and Benefits:

 

$15 per hour
