Job Description: The Sierra Club, a leading non-profit environmental organization, seeks individual to plan, organize, and coordinate the activities of staff and volunteers in carrying out the activities for Energy and Global Warming campaigns, Lobbying and Electoral programs in the region. Staff Management position - supervises 2 to 5 people across New England. Position based in Boston, Massachusetts. Regional Representative – Manager works with communications and web team to implement online campaigns. Participates in the development of strategies, priorities, and fundraising. Travels to organize and coordinate training events, field meetings, visibility events, or other community outreach events.
 
Qualifications:   Position requires a BA/BS degree in Environmental Studies, Political Science, or closely related field, and 3+ years experience in grassroots organizing, Staff Management, coalition building , lobbying and electoral campaigns. Online organizing experience, contacts with environmental coalition partners & media relations a plus. Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and proof of auto insurance required. Must be able to travel as needed. Frequent weekend and /or evening work required. Salary commensurate with experience, plus generous benefit package.
