Stand
for Children seeks an outstanding Organizer to work
with our State Director to launch a
Washington
state affiliate.
The
Organizer will be assigned to specific communities and
be responsible for organizing a Chapter or Community
Teams. The Organizer’s primary responsibilities will
include:

Meetings
to recruit volunteer leaders
-
Training
and coaching member leaders to build new Teams
-
Managing
issue research; coordinating meetings with elected
officials
-
Mobilizing
members to win key issue and election campaigns at
the local and state level.
Job
Requirements:
-
Community
organizing, political organizing or relevant
leadership experience. Note:
If you do
not have community/political organizing or
relevant leadership experience, please do not
apply.

Willingness
to work flexible hours including evenings and
occasional weekends; full-time access to a car.
