Throughout the academic year the Shorenstein Center presents lectures and discussions in a variety of formats — conferences, forums, symposia, lectures, discussions and informal gatherings. Our highly popular brown-bag lunches highlight the Center's ability to attract interesting speakers who share their expertise and experience with Kennedy School students throughout the school year.
Event topics have included press coverage of race and politics; international developments; women, media and politics; presidential campaigns; the Supreme Court nomination process; and technology. Many events take place at the Shorenstein Center, in the Institute of Politics, or in the Harvard Kennedy School's Forum, but the Center has also hosts events in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, and other major cities.
A listing of upcoming events is available on our calendar; recent news and events can be viewed, and more than a decade's worth of archives are available.
Join us for a brown-bag lunch with John M. Hamilton, Dean, Manship School of Mass Communication, Louisiana State University. The event will take place on Monday, November 9 at 12:00 p.m. in Kalb Seminar Room, Taubman 275.
