The community at the Program in Criminal Justice Policy and Management includes celebrated faculty and faculty affiliates from across Harvard University, dedicated staff who have worked with students and practitioners for decades, and talented and inspiring students.
We partner with scholars at other academic institutions and rely on partners in government and the nonprofit sector in much of our work.

New Faculty Chair Announced
Bruce Western has been named Faculty Chair of the Program in Criminal Justice Policy and Management (PCJ) by Dean David T. Ellwood.
"Our justice institutions have a vital role to play in ensuring our poorest and most vulnerable citizens can fully participate in their communities. My great hope is that Program in Criminal Justice can advance this project." - Bruce Western
Western will continue in his present roles as Professor of Sociology with the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) as well as Director of the Malcolm Wiener Center for Social Policy.
