WAPPP Team

WAPPP was founded in 1997 under the dual leadership of Professor Jane Mansbridge, then Faculty Chair, and Ambassador Swanee Hunt, Director. In September 2003, Professor Iris Bohnet took over as Faculty Chair of the program. Professor Bohnet is widely respected for her work on behavioral economics and negotiation, and Ambassador Hunt brings decades of experience as a policymaker and activist supporting grassroots approaches to social change.

Since its establishment, WAPPP has benefited tremendously from its association with faculty and advisors across the Kennedy School and the University. Our Faculty Executive Committee, chaired by Jane Mansbridge, provides oversight and strategic direction and is the key decision making body for the organization.

In addition, we have a large number of faculty Affiliates who provide advice and support on our current research and programming activities.WAPPP is also proud to work with The Women's Leadership Board.
