While we live in an increasingly globalized and connected world, in 2017 basic democratic values are on the decline and on the defensive in many countries. But can nonviolent social movements successfully prevent this erosion?
Please join us for a free webcast with Douglas Johnson, Srdja Popovic and Slobodan Djinovic, lecturers at Harvard Kennedy School. In this webcast, the most important battlegrounds for democracy happening today will be discussed. The faculty will also provide an overview of the key principles of successful nonviolent movements, both contemporary and historical, large and small.
