Throughout his life, Alex has actively pursued opportunities in which he can build teams and contribute to creating positive change in the world. At Brown University, he earned a BA in Business, Entrepreneurship, and Organization. He also played on the varsity men’s lacrosse team and led the No Labels chapter. In the U.S. Navy, Alex served as a Surface Warfare Officer onboard a guided missile destroyer (USS WINSTON S. CHURCHILL) in which he held several roles in leading antiterrorism, operations, and anti-submarine warfare efforts. In his next chapter at HKS, Alex wants to learn how to develop policy solutions that will forge strong public-private partnerships and stimulate the innovation of flexible technologies that simultaneously address issues in multiple domains like national security and climate change. He is interested in pursuing a career in product management at a dual-use or climate technology company or working on the staff of the National Security Council.
