Allison Devore is a philanthropic advisor, social investor, and entrepreneur. She is the Board Member of Spark MicroGrants, Board Member of GlobalGirl Media, Advisory Board Member of Jumpstart, and Founding Member of Prime Exponents at the National Museum of Mathematics. Prior to this, Allison was a Board Member and the Executive Director of StreetWise Partners, connecting professionals from firms such as Morgan Stanley and Bloomberg with low-income individuals to provide career coaching. She previously led business development at Verite, the Skoll awarded nonprofit guiding multi-national companies throughout the world to improve environmental and working conditions. At Verite, she guided brands like HP and VF Corp. on corporate social responsibility and launched Advancing Women in the Global Workplace to improve conditions for women globally. Earlier in her career, she was the Manager of Boston Programs for the Center For Women and Enterprise and V.P. of Business Dev. for CitySoft Inc., recipient of MIT’s Socially Responsible Business Award. She started her career at Accenture and San Francisco Consulting Group and monitored South Africa’s 1999 elections, was a Harvard Business School/McKinsey & Co Nonprofit Performance Initiative fellow, and participated in the White House’s launch of the Social Innovation Fund. She’s been an advisor to Investing in Media that Matters – at Sundance, New Profit’s America Forward, Stanford's Responsible Supply Chains Conference, and the U.S. State Dept.’s President’s Interagency Council on Women, among others. Allison holds an MPP from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and lives in Manhattan with her husband and two sons.
