Amanda R. Matos, bringing over a decade of experience in public affairs and social movements to the current movement for reproductive freedom, is the National Director of Impact and Strategy for Planned Parenthood Federation of America and PP Action Fund, where she leads strategic goal setting and impact evaluation of advocacy campaigns to advance reproductive rights nationally. Previously, as Senior Director of Constituency Campaigns, she managed three national advocacy programs - Black Organizing Program, Raiz & Latinx Organizing, Planned Parenthood Generation Action- building grassroots power in Black and Latinx communities and college campuses across 50 states. Amanda has spent her career pushing institutions toward funding, centering, and partnering with grassroots community efforts led by young people of color. Amanda completed a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnicity & Race Studies from Columbia University and a Master in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School as a Sheila C. Johnson Fellow. She was a Forbes 30 Under 30 Law & Policy Lister and has been interviewed by and published in Rolling Stone, CNN, MSNBC, Elle.com, ABC Nightline, among other media outlets.
