Anastasia Trainque is assistant director for practitioner engagement at Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for Public Leadership. With over a decade of experience in higher education, Trainque directs the Hauser Leaders Program, a senior visiting fellowship program, and the Gleitsman Activist Award, an annual award recognizing outstanding social activists. In this role, Trainque welcomes to campus distinguished leadership practitioners who enhance the consequential research, teaching, and practice of public leadership at the Kennedy School. Trainque earned a BA in the Humanities and a graduate certificate in nonprofit management, both from Harvard Extension School. In 2017, Trainque served as director of volunteer operations at the Massachusetts Democratic Convention held in Worcester, MA and she volunteers as a career mentor through Harvard’s Office of Career Services.
