Brandon Moore is a native of Connecticut’s northwest corner and recently served on active duty as a U.S. Army aviation officer from 2014 to 2022. From the cockpit of his Apache helicopter, Brandon’s career began in the Republic of Korea where he focused on integrating U.S. aviation assets alongside partner forces. In 2019, he assumed command of an Air Cavalry Troop and led counterterrorism and stability operations while deployed to southeast Afghanistan. Brandon graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science with honors in American politics and international relations. He aspires to a lifelong career of public service as an advocate for socially, economically, and politically marginalized communities across his home state of Connecticut.
