Dr. Enrique Segura is the Chairman of the ENSE Group since 2012, a holding company that retains a majority interest in seven subsidiary companies, namely Alex Stewart International, Securiport, Kibo, Harbass, Dona Arletti, with operations and facilities in more than 120 countries worldwide and an annual turnover of more than US $7 billion. He is the President of Alex Stewart International LLC, a company specializing in the auditing of mining and petroleum concerns on behalf of governments from 2002 to present; Chief Executive Officer of Securiport LLC, a firm providing intelligent immigration and border control security systems from 2001 to present; Director of Harbass LLC, which specializes in advising foreign governments on foreign debt renegotiation and debt management from 2007 to present; and Director of KIBO Laboratories LLC, a leader in providing compliance and anti-counterfeiting services to governments from 2010 to present. Dr. Segura has held executive positions during the last 40 years, starting his career in the banking industry at the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank in Washington DC in the late 80’s and continued to the private service sector as a President and CEO of several companies during the 90’s (detailed in the full CV). Dr. Segura’s diplomatic assignments include serving as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Uganda in Argentina from 1996 to present, as President’s Envoy for the Government of Gabon to China (2013-2014), and Good Will Ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia from 2019 to present. Dr. Segura is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Smithsonian National Museum of American History and serves as a member of the Smithsonian Advisory Board Chairs in Washington DC. He also serves on the Dean’s Executive Board of the Harvard Kennedy School, Director at the Finance Committee of the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C, member of the Board of Trustees and fellow of the Board of Fellows at the Catholic University of America and was Vice President of the Board of Trustees from 2017 to 2022. He is a founding and Board member of the Segura's family Cre-Ser Foundation, and President of the Trust for the Americas of the Organization of American States from the years 1999 to 2005 and remains currently as a Board Member. Dr. Segura has authored various articles including in the publications of G7 2022 and in the G20 2022, titled “Biometrics and data: ensuring the safety of transnational borders” and “Smart borders for a globalized world” respectively. Dr. Segura is a graduate of the Owners/Presidents Management Program of Harvard Business School, and a graduate of Advanced International Studies from the Society of International Studies in Madrid. He also received a Ph.D. in Economics, an MBA from Universidad Autónoma, Madrid, and a B.A. in Accounting from Cuyo National University, Mendoza, Argentina.
