Abraham is an educationalist, philanthropist, and charity organizer who has worked with the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she established the Ewa Abraham Fellowship after participating in Harvard Project Zero, a program designed to enhance learning in the arts and other areas. From 2010 to 2013, she was a member of the MIT OpenCourseWare External Advisory Board. More recently, Abraham has played a supporting role in Generation Global, an initiative of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change and the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women. Since attending the signing of the historic Oslo Accord at the White House in 1993, she has been an active participant in the work of the S. Daniel Abraham Center for Middle East Peace. She is also helping to develop the mission of the New Synagogue of Palm Beach. Since 1996 she has been married to Dan Abraham, founder of SlimFast, and they have two teenage children.
