Suerie Moon, MPA, PhD is Research Director and Co-Chair ofthe Forum on Global Governance for Health, Harvard Global Health Institute andHarvard School of Public Health. She is also the Co-Director of the Project onInnovation and Access to Technologies for Sustainable Development,Sustainability Science Program, Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Herwork focuses on global governance, the evolution of international regimes, thepolitical economy of global health (particularly innovation, access to medicines,intellectual property and equity), and innovative policies for addressingglobal problems. Prior to coming to Harvard, she worked for the MdecinsSans Frontires/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) international Campaign for Accessto Essential Medicines, where she focused on intellectual property rights,equity prices for medicines, and research and development into neglecteddiseases. She has also consulted onaccess to medicines policies for MSF, Oxfam, the Medicines Patent Pool, UNAIDS,UNITAID and the World Health Organization.Dr. Moon is a member of the Board of Directors of MSF-USA, the Drugs forNeglected Diseases Initiative-North America, the expert Proposal ReviewCommittee of UNITAID, and the Global Advisory Committee of the WHO project on localproduction for access to medical products.

She received a BA in History from Yale University, an MPAfrom the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at PrincetonUniversity, and a PhD in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School ofGovernment.
