White is Of Counsel at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, having retired from the partnership at the end of 2017 after 36 years at the firm. During his career, he advised a wide variety of corporate clients, financial institutions, and government entities on mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, corporate governance issues, internal investigations, project financings, and regulatory matters. He spent 22 years in the firm’s London office, working on professional matters in 28 different countries around the globe. He also managed the firm’s Frankfurt office for five years and was based in New York, Paris, and Los Angeles at various times. He currently serves on the boards of the American Foundation for the Courtauld Institute of Art and Maryland Lyric Opera.
