Grace Michel

Grace Michel, PhD, is an economist specializing in development, behavioral, and labor economics, with a focus on economic decision-making in low-income countries. She earned her PhD in public policy from Harvard University and was a PhD affiliate with the Center for International Development and the Institute for Quantitative Social Science. Her research examines how behavioral motivations shape the effectiveness of programs and public policies. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and previously worked as a research assistant at the Council of Economic Advisers, the American Enterprise Institute, and the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy.
