Greg Dorchak is the Area Administrator for the Management, Leadership, and Decision Sciences Faculty Area at HKS. He also serves as the Assistant to MLD Area Chair and CPL Co-Director, Hannah Riley Bowles. In his role as Area Administrator, Greg supports curriculum development and faculty advancement and recruitment. He also manages the Certificate in Management, Leadership, and Decision Sciences ("The MLD Certificate") program.
In his many years at HKS, Greg has directly supported nearly three dozen faculty members across multiple disciplines. He served for 7 years as managing editor for International Public Management Journal. He has also served as an HKS Ombudsman and currently co-chairs the HKS Joint Council, representing the Harvard Union of Clerical and Technical Workers. Greg completed extensive graduate coursework in negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution, as well as management communication.
In his work at HKS, Greg most enjoys creating meaningful connections between and among students, faculty, and staff. Outside of HKS, Greg loves his wife and two kids; Tottenham Hotspur FC; playing soccer; skiing; cooking (sometimes); and walking his Golden Retriever, Buddha. Greg was born and raised in Colorado but transplanted to New England after attending Bates College in Maine.
