Helen Clapp is the Research Coordinator and Faculty Assistant to Professor Kathryn Sikkink. She coordinates the Transitional Justice Evaluation Team funded by Global Affairs Canada. As part of the grant team, she researches transitional justice measures in societies emerging from armed conflict and authoritarianism, including human rights trials, truth commissions, and reparations policies. She also provides teaching and office support to Professor Sikkink.
Prior to joining the Harvard Kennedy School, Helen was a Case Assistant at Foley Hoag LLP, where she worked with the Global Business and Human Rights practice. She earned her Master of Science in International Relations from the London School of Economics in 2021, and her BA in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies from Amherst College in 2018.
