Jeffrey A. Tricoli has been Section Chief of the FBI’s Cyber Division since December 2016. Mr. Tricoli joined the FBI in 1998 as a professional staff employee assigned to the Finance Division at FBIHQ. In 2000, he joined the FBI’s National Infrastructure Protection Center (NIPC) as a cyber Intelligence Operations Specialist. In 2002, Mr. Tricoli became an FBI Special Agent and was assigned to the cyber squad at the Denver Division. In 2007, Mr. Tricoli was assigned to the FBI Buffalo Division as the cyber Supervisory Special Agent. In 2012, Mr. Tricoli was assigned to the FBI's Cyber Division. He oversaw the first ever indictment of five members of the PRC alleged to be involved in the theft of intellectual property from US victims. In 2014, Mr. Tricoli was assigned to the Cleveland Division as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the cyber, admin and intelligence programs.
