Jennifer Manry is the Principal of Corporate Systems at Vanguard, where she oversees the technology and data products that support Vanguard’s shared services, including Human Resources, Legal, Risk, Marketing, and Communications. Additionally, she leads the development and management of enterprise technology platforms, enhancing productivity through innovative solutions like robotic process automation, generative AI, CRM, workflow, and search functionalities.
Prior to Vanguard, Jennifer was the Vice President of the Global Industry Solutions group at VMware, where she was responsible for defining VMware’s global industry strategy and creating industry-specific solutions across financial services, healthcare, retail, and government sectors.
Before VMware, Jennifer held executive leadership positions at both Bank of America and Capital One. At Bank of America, she served as the CIO and Managing Director of Employee Technology and Employee Experience, overseeing the technology used by over 200,000 employees globally. She was also responsible for the shared services technology that supported the bank’s back-office functions, including Human Resources, Marketing, Supplier Management, and more.
At Capital One, Jennifer served as Managing Vice President of End User Computing, Digital Workplace, and Identity and Access Management. In this role, she drove the transformation of the employee experience, creating a modern, digital workplace with consumer-grade technology at enterprise scale. She also managed the technology that supported all of the bank’s internal functions.
Jennifer has also held technology leadership positions at GE and Genworth Financial.
She earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Jennifer sits on the advisory boards for both Writer.AI and Norm.AI.
