Dean's Council Leadership Circle Member

Laura Cahill is a Leadership Circle member of the Harvard Kennedy School Dean's Council. She is a Boston College graduate with a B.A. in Political Science.  She graduated from UCONN Law School and worked for former U.S. Senator Joseph I. Lieberman (CT) as Deputy State Director and Counsel.  Her professional career has been in the federal and state government public service sectors.  Laura is an experienced campaign aide having worked in 5 winning statewide Connecticut campaigns.  Laura has held leadership roles in alumni associations, religious organizations, domestic violence, and local government.  Laura is a Class of 2023 Harvard Kennedy School graduate having earned a Master’s in Public Administration and a Management, Leadership and Decision Sciences (MLD) Certificate with a concentration adaptive leadership.  Laura currently serves on the Glastonbury Town, Plan and Zoning Commission.  She is Chair of Connecticut Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz’s Power of Women PAC and provides political consulting services.
