Maha Al-Juffali Ghandour is the founder, Director and Supervising Trustee of the Help Center, a family-owned NGO for persons with intellectual disabilities in Saudi Arabia established in 1985; President for Special Olympics Saudi Arabia, Chairperson for the Jeddah First health cluster (Ministry of Health), a Partner & Shareholder in E.A. Juffali and Brothers and M.O Gandour and sons.
An avid advocate for the rights of persons with intellectual disabilities, and is particularly committed to promoting their arts, sports as well as securing their future by making sure they get equal rights in employment. She has established multiple support groups for parents, educators, siblings, and adults with intellectual disability.

Maha serves on an array of distinguished boards within the Educational, Medical, and social sector, locally and internationally.
She has received many awards in recognition for her contribution to the field of Disability and philanthropy, including King Khaled Award of Excellence in Social Projects 2011, and was decorated by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, presented in 2002 for the first time to a woman in acknowledgement of her work.
