Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen; Amman, Jordan
Maria Andreina will join the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen (OSESGY) in Amman, Jordan. She will be working closely with the Economic Unit to identify policies that can improve Yemen's socioeconomic landscape and women's economic inclusion. Her work will include reviewing experiences of similar fragile states in the Middle East and Africa, their successes and failures. She will also conduct interviews with women entrepreneurs in conflict settings to understand their perspectives and experiences. The insights she gains will inform knowledge products, programmatic areas, and expert consultation sessions organized by OSESGY.
