Ming Chieh Chang
CID Research Fellow

I am a research fellow working with Professors Rema Hanna and Ben Olken. My work focuses on evaluating policies related to property tax outsourcing, infrastructure subsidies, and social protection. Prior to joining CID, I conducted research on international trade and political economy at National Taiwan University and worked on economic history under the supervision of Professor J. Bradford DeLong during my exchange at the University of California, Berkeley. My research aims to combine historical and contemporary evidence to inform policies that improve welfare. I hold a BA in economics from National Taiwan University.
