Nalini Agarwal, MPP'25, will be interning with 180 Degrees Consulting, a mission-driven 501c3 registered US non-profit organization that helps (a) develop the next generation of social impact leaders and social entrepreneurs, and (b) helps social impact organization solve challenges to that they can scale up their impact. 180 Degrees is the world’s largest consultancy for non-profits and the world’s largest volunteer consultancy. During the internship, Nalini will work as a pro-bono advisor to Forte Global (‘Forte’), one of the organizations that 180 Degrees is supporting. Forte is a mission-driven social impact organization focused on providing high-quality education at no cost to disadvantaged populations around the world in a scalable manner. She'll work closely with their strategy and operations team, gaining insight, evaluating, and enhancing their workforce development programs in places such as Colombia and Costa Rica, which have successfully empowered hundreds of women in the tech industry. You will better understand how to achieve scalability, advance gender equality, build public-private partnerships, and foster sustainable successful economic transition for communities impacted by automation through their model. In her time, she will be partly based in Medellin, Colombia, where she will work closely with the team to boost Forte's capabilities and reach.
