Nicholas Fisher is a Boston Police Department Sergeant, an Army National Guard Blackhawk helicopter pilot, and a 2024-2025 student in the Mid-Career Master in Public Administration program. Nick has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in criminal justice, from Northeastern University and the University of Massachusetts Lowell respectively, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Boston University. He is a resident of Dorchester, MA and has been employed by the Boston Police Department since 2010. In that time Nick has held positions as an intern, crime analyst, police officer, detective, and sergeant. Nick joined the Massachusetts Army National Guard in 2019 and after completing basic training, Warrant Officer Candidate School, and flight school he became a pilot in 2022. He deployed to the Middle East in 2023 in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Nick is interested in behavioral science, aviation, public-private partnerships, and policy analysis. In his free time he enjoys reading and spending time with his dogs, Atticus and Willow.
