Ranya H. Brooks, MBA, MEd, is a change management leader who drives talent management and organizational effectiveness in complex, highly matrixed environments. She uses a data-driven, analytical approach to design and execute strategic people initiatives that elevate engagement, strengthen culture, and align leaders around clear performance goals. Across higher education, consulting, and the nonprofit sector, she has built a track record of engaging with and integrating feedback from diverse stakeholders and turning insights into measurable progress, advancing people-centered priorities. 

As the inaugural Director of Workforce Engagement for Harvard University Campus Services, Ranya built the organization’s foundational people and culture strategy, leading enterprise-wide engagement efforts and fostering collaboration, accountability, and transparency across the organization. She is skilled in advising senior and executive leaders on employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and organizational culture, and has successfully managed initiatives that drive high-performing teams and sustainable organizational growth.

Previously, as Training Solutions Practice Lead & Senior Consultant at IBIS Consulting Group, Ranya partnered with senior and C-suite leaders in U.S. and global organizations across sectors to build learning and development strategies that advanced talent development and organizational performance goals. She led cross-functional teams to design data-driven, customized programs that strengthened leadership skills, improved team effectiveness, and supported high-performing workplace cultures. 

Earlier, at Boston Plan for Excellence, she led strategic partnerships and recruitment, strengthened the organization’s onboarding program for AmeriCorps participants to improve retention, and redesigned recruitment processes to promote fairness and transparency. 

Ranya was an Edwardson Civic Scholar at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business where she earned an MBA with concentrations in Strategic Management, Economics, and Behavioral Science. She also holds an MEd in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she received the Dean’s Intellectual Contribution Award, and a BA in Classical Studies with a minor in Human Development and Education from Dartmouth College.
